Health, Safety and Environment Management for Construction Sites

The scope of our work ‘Health, Safety and Environment - Management’ (HSE-Management) covers an extended safety-related supervision of construction sites. As in our scope of work 'Occupational Health and Safety Coordination', we differentiate between a planning and implementation phase.

A so called HSE-Plan will be adjusted project-related within the planning phase. Essential points are the resource planning for the HSE-services, the determination of supporting and assessing routines as well as the delineation of minimum standards for the concrete implementation. Thereby, improvement processes are of great importance. In the course of the planning phase, we also provide the following components as individual services:

  • Development of the HSE-Plan
  • Provision of the HSE-Managers for the planning phase
  • Development of craft-specific risk assessments
  • Assessment of the occupational safety organisation of the executing companies
  • Development of an occupational safety concept for the maintenance of building structures
  • Development of a work- and security plan for works in contaminated areas
  • Training of specific topics related to occupational safety
  • Development of escape- and emergency routes plans

The HSE-Plan that has been adjusted and approved during the planning phase, is implemented within the implementation phase: We provide the following services as an overall package or individual services:

  • Provision of the HSE-Manager for the implementation phase as well as – if necessary, further HSE-Officers
  • Discussion and cooperation concerning work permission processes
  • Development of craft-specific risk assessments
  • Assessment of the occupational safety organisation of the executing companies
  • Provision of a coordinator for works in contaminated areas according DGUV R. 101-004 as well as TRGS 524
  • Training of specific topics related to occupational safety
  • Investigation of incidents

NEW: Provision of construction-related safety supervisors

Construction-related safety supervision supports the implementation of the occupational safety requirements at the construction site in a defined subarea in the course of a concrete task. During the implementation phase, the construction-related safety supervisors are considered to be the HSE-Manager’s or health- and safety coordinator’s long arm. In contrast to the so called ‘manhole guards’ for confined space or the construction site security, the safety supervisors are deployed for die supervision of ‘typical’ construction tasks. They have the required building skills.
